System Integration and Testing Engineer

We are seeking a System Integration and Testing Engineer to join the SYSTEM team in the company. BACKGROUND

Healium Medical is an early-stage medical device company developing transcatheter ultrasound therapeutic technology for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. The company’s technology is multidisciplinary and consists of micro-mechanics, micro-electronics, hardware, software, and signal and image algorithm processing. The company is backed by strategic investors, has development collaborations projects with strategic partners, won 1st place at the prestigious ICI2019 Technological Innovation Competition, and was recently awarded the European Innovation Council (EIC) grant 2021.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Collaborate with R&D teams (System, SW, HW, Algorithm, Catheter designers), UX/UI designers, and product managers to become intimately familiar with product design and functionality.

§ Develop a strategy for integration and testing of multi-disciplinary products from scratch (including interface with external devices) and participate in design reviews to ensure Design for Testability (DfT).

§ Develop the integration and test environment and the required test tools and fixtures.

§ Conduct System Integration activities including assembly of system prototypes, incrementally verifying their functionality and performance.

§ Develop robust Design Verification Test (DVT) protocols with full coverage of product requirements.

§ Collaborate with the clinical and product teams to develop test scenarios based on clinical workflows.

§ Conduct the pre- and final verification tests and generate a robust report.

§ Support troubleshooting, investigations, and pre-clinical trials.


YOUR EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

§ Degree in biomedical engineering, computer science/engineering (or equivalent).

§ Proven experience in System Integration and testing, preferably on medical devices.

§ High level of verbal and written English.


ADVANTAGES

§ Experience with medical device development, system engineering, integration, or testing.

§ Experience in developing test stations / fixtures and conducting test method validation.

§ Experience with automatic testing development concepts and tools.
